Black History Celebration 2024
Valid Dreams Foundation is built on the basis of diversity and inclusion and welcomes people from all walks of life.
We are excited to announce our Annual Black History Event which focuses on promoting and preserving black and African culture and, most importantly, sharing it with other cultures and the community of Kamloops. We provide and create a safe space for other cultures to learn about the African Heritage and the challenges faced by the black community. The event also presents opportunities to foster relationships, deepen cultural understanding, and strengthen allyships within communities.
The 2023 event was attended by over 200 people from all over Canada, and we expect an even better experience this year!

Your support of our event will not only promote cross-cultural interaction, black excellence in the community, and heritage preservation but also increase visibility for your organization, its values, and social purpose.
Platinum Sponsorship ($5000):
As a platinum sponsor, your company logo and name will be prominently displayed in all marketing materials, including event banners, advertisements, and social media promotions. You will also receive special recognition during the event day, and your representatives will have the opportunity to address the audience. 16 complimentary VIP seats.
Gold Sponsorship ($3000):
As a gold sponsor, your company name and logo will be featured on event banners and various promotional materials. Additionally, you will receive recognition during the event and in our media releases. 12 complimentary VIP seats.
Silver Sponsorship ($2000):
As a silver sponsor, your company name will be acknowledged in our event program, on the website, and in select marketing materials and social media. 8 complimentary VIP seats.
Bronze Sponsorship ($1500):
As a Bronze sponsor, your company name will be acknowledged at the event program, on website and mention at the event and social media. 5 complimentary VIP seats.
Table Sponsorship ($800):
Mention on social media and 2 complimentary VIP seats. ..
For $750 you can buy a VIP table for 10 with 2 bottles of wine and snacks.
In Kind Donations will also be given value and recognized accordingly into any sponsorship
category. ( Food Donations, Venue, Gift Cards, Printing, Services, videography, marketing etc)
